Our Walks

Walks 2011   Each of these walks is more a meander than a walk.  They have been created to teach you the basics of photography therefore we will be stopping a lot to take in the views and to think about the various ways to take your images. You will be able to ask questions at any time to the two professional photographers teaching you. Please note: If you are a serious walker, and walking is the prime reason for you being with us, then these walks are probably not for you.

We will split the group in two, John taking one party and Kevin the other, encouraging you to try various ways to compose your pictures. We will stop for lunch all together, hopefully, around 1.00pm.  After lunch we will change groups and continue until late afternoon when we will conclude with tea and coffee and the usual end of day critique.  This will be a day to remember.

Craster & Dunstanburgh Castle. Max 10 people £55.00 per person (Around 4 miles of easy walking) Pack Lunch required. (Monday 26th September 2011)

Our walk starts with a quick look around the harbour then were off along the coast to the castle. This will definitely be more of a meander than a walk because the views of the castle are phenomenal and you will all want plenty of time to get your shots.  The castle grounds has plenty of opportunity for us to teach you some basic rules for taking outdoor portraits as well as landscapes. It’s also the perfect place for lunch. After our break  we will take you beyond the castle along the beautiful beach and photograph if from a different view. Then its the walk back to base chatting about our day and finishing back at the cafe for a coffee before heading home.
